The railway heritage management company (SIPF) participated in the 7th edition of the International Forum and African Transport Fair (Fisat) which was held from 29 November to 1 December 2023 at the Abidjan Exhibition Center. Under the theme: «Modernisation of Logistics, Transport and Infrastructure ecosystems: sustainability, security, digitalisation and employability of young people. What challenges and opportunities for tomorrow’s Africa? The (FISAT) brought together professionals from the transport, logistics and related sectors, in order to anticipate, find solutions and effectively manage transport with a global and cross-cutting vision through themes addressed during the panels, including that led by the Special Advisor to the Director General of SITARAIL, Hoba Théophile and the representative of Morocco
Cissé Moustapha, director of (SIPF) said during a panel entitled "The railway as a factor of development and African integration"that rail transport represents the future in terms of development and African integration because the railway has an undeniable advantage in terms of mass transport, because the railway line brings to the increase of traffic, many opportunities and supports the development of a region, a country. These 3 days of forum were furnished by discussions, B to B meetings, vehicle exhibitions, demo tour and drive-in of electric vehicles, a gala dinner, trade exhibitions of stands of companies that counted among them those of the Sipf. Remember that Fisat 2023 was sponsored by Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé, with three countries in the spotlight: Morocco, Belgium and France.
